The Japanese Art Society is now connected with Zelle so that members can pay for memberships, publications and JASA-sponsored events without using PayPal or dropping a check in the mail.
Zelle is an easy way to send money directly between almost any U.S. bank accounts, typically within minutes. With just an email address, you can quickly, safely and easily send and receive money with more people, regardless of where they bank.
STEP 1: Access Zelle.
- Find Zelle in the mobile banking app of the bank that you normally use for payments. If you already have your banking app on your phone, there’s no download necessary.
- If your bank or credit union doesn’t offer Zelle yet, you can download the Zelle app instead to get started.
STEP 2: Select Japanese Art Society as the payment recipient.
- The Payee name is Japanese Art Society of America.
- The email associated with this account is jasa@japaneseartsoc.org.
STEP 3: Choose the amount to send.
- Enter the amount you want to pay to JASA.
- Enter what the payment is for into the “memo” section so that we apply your payment to the correct membership account, publication or event.
