Impressions No. 38

The journal Impressions is sent annually to all paying members of the Japanese Art Society of America. The 2018 volume contains more than 210 pages of articles, images and reviews in a collectible-quality format. (Click here for Impressions 39 Table of Contents.)

Back issues of journal Volumes 19 to 38 are $15 each; Volume 26 is available as a bound black-and-white copy, $30. Issues 1 to 18 are available in one volume of bound photocopies for $35. Impressions No. 38In October 2017, Impressions 38 received prestigious Honorable Mentions from Folio: magazine for both the Eddie and the Ozzie Awards for design as well as for editorial content in an international field of professional journals In 2016, Impressions 37 received Honorable Mention in the Folio: Eddie Awards for the best in print editorial in the Full Issue category. Rare Correspondence: Letters from Harry Packard to Edwin Grabhorn 1950–64, the supplementary issue of Impressions 36, received Honorable Mention in the Folio: Ozzie Awards for the best in magazine design in the Overall Design category.
