|JASA Lectures Online|
JASA has now begun an initiative to record JASA lectures when possible. JASA member John Resig—creator of Ukiyo-e.org, the Japanese woodblock print database and search engine, has volunteered to record audio of a selection of these lectures and combine it with the slides used by the presenter. These videos can be watched by anyone interested in Japanese art and culture, and from anywhere in the world. As a lecture is completed. it will be announced on the website and viewers can click on a link view it on YouTube.
In New York in May 2014, John Resig demonstrated the use of the Ukiyo-e.org search engine. Click here to view a video of his lecture, The Floating World at Your Finger Tips.
